Rainbow Children's Medicare Ltd, a multi-specialty pediatric hospital chain, has filed preliminary papers with market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to raise over ₹2,000 crores through an initial public offering (IPO).

The public issue comprises a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating up to Rs 280 crore and an offer sale of up to 2.4 crore equity shares by the selling shareholders Promoters Ramesh Kancharla, Dinesh Kumar Chirla, and Adarsh Kancharla and investors CDC Group, CDC India will offload shares through OFS. Kotak Mahindra Capital Company, J.P. Morgan India, and IIFL Securities are the book running lead managers to the issue.
